On behalf of the North East Joint Transport Committee, we are working to deliver our vision of moving to a green, healthy, dynamic and thriving North East.
People are central to the development of transport policy and strategy in the North East. We want to ensure that people who live or work in the region have the opportunity to influence and comment on developing transport strategy. One we way do this is through consultations and engagement.
We endeavor to consult on emerging strategies or projects, taking onboard comments, suggestions and thoughts from the public and stakeholders to help us shape how transport in the North East will look in the future. We aim to ensure that local needs remain at the core of decisions we make.
Our Consultation Principles outline the steps we take to ensure that we reach as many people as possible when we consult on upcoming policies and strategies. You can view TNE’s Consultation Principles here.
Public consultations will be listed below. Thank you for your input and help in shaping transport in the North East.
